3rd & 4th February saw the Wessex Tubas team exhibiting once again; this time at the United States Army Band Tuba-Euphonium Workshop.

Held at Fort Myer in Washington DC, this 2 day event saw us share with all in attendance our largest display to date; including a preview of our upcoming 6/4 Grand BBb Tuba, and Tornister Euphonium.

Attendees flock to Wessex Tubas

A fantastic event, we were delighted to welcome over 200 guests to our exhibit within the first 2 hours alone!

It seemed so many were eager to try out our newest designs, as well as some of our most popular existing products, and we’re pleased to report that no-one was disappointed with what they experienced - as everyone who approached us to test our products commented the exceptional quality and outstanding playing of the instruments they tried.

Attracting attention, again and again

As is so always the case when we exhibit, we had a great time at Fort Myer, sharing our newest products with fellow impassioned musicians from across the world, including professional Tubaist Paul Maybery - Music Director of the Yankee Brass Band, freelance touring and orchestral musician.

An advocate for our TC590 CC 5/4 Piston Tuba ‘Wyvern’, Paul enjoyed trying out our newest products, and we very much enjoyed meeting him in person for the very first time.

We had so much fun, we’re already looking forward to the next one!
